The position provides the opportunity to work with global high-profile brands and organizations to help lead and implement health/nutrition strategic programs, including:  managing client projects; key message development/training; nutrition science-communications integration; advisory panel strategy, recruitment and management; health and nutrition thought leader/key opinion leader relationship management; thought leader event planning and coordination; and food and nutrition policy and public affairs consulting.

The candidate will support their assigned teams and will serve as day-to-day client contact for key accounts.  There are strong opportunities for growth in this role through demonstrating complete project ownership, effective program management, and client management. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading scientific conference and thought leader event management; leading project management meetings/calls with clients; developing and managing program workplans; managing client projects from start to finish, including workplans and budgets; supporting the development of strategic program plans; developing client recommendations and project proposals; writing media and health influencer education materials; assessing trends/issues in food and nutrition science and policy to provide strategic counsel to clients, account teams and to advise client programs; monitoring and staying abreast of the global nutrition affairs environment to understand relevant client implications and opportunities; and developing and implementing influencer engagement and relationship management strategies.  Role may include opportunities for international travel.

A minimum of 4-5 years within a fast-paced agency/communications setting with client-facing experience is desired and preferred.  A proven track record of supporting and developing successful health and nutrition science communications programs is required.  Strong project management, solutions-oriented trouble shooting and problem solving skills and ability to manage and drive multiple client projects in parallel are necessary for success in this role.  Excellent writing and verbal skills, including experience with science/technical writing and/or policy analysis and writing are required.  The candidate should have solid organizational and multi-tasking skills.  Strong attention to detail is a must-have attribute.  Advanced credentialing in nutrition, communications and/or public health is a plus.
